Claude and Carol Burlingame filed a quiet title action to determine ownership, control and use rights of a parcel of land located in Sanders County, Montana. The District Court sitting without a jury decreed that title to the property was vested in Burlingames but that Marjerrisons had acquired prescriptive easements for grazing, agriculture and timber harvesting. Costs were awarded to Marjerrisons. Following the District Courts denial of Burlingames motions to retax the costs and to amend the findings of fact, conclusions of law and decree, Burlingames appeal. We reverse.
